Online Coaching vs. In-Person Personal Training: Which Is Right for You?

In-person training gives you real-time form correction and a fixed appointment that forces you to show up. Online coaching gives you daily accountability, programming that adapts weekly, and access to specialists regardless of where you live — typically at half the price or less.

Online coaching works best when you have basic movement competence and your main gap is structure and accountability. If you are brand new to lifting, a hybrid approach works well: a few in-person sessions to learn movement patterns, then online coaching for the long game.
